LEWIS STORES DO NOT CARE

<p>Lewis Stores is the one company you do not want to do ANY business with.</p> <p> </p> <p>On 24 August 2012 I bought a Restonic Base set from Lewis Stores Secunda (Branch Code: 0401). In October 2012 the base broke. Lewis refused to assist me with getting the base set exchanged/repaired. Empty promises were made.</p> <p> </p> <p>In January 2016 I received a call from Santa (Area Manager) about my Lewis account that is in arrears. I told her about the bed and my frustration with regards to the incompetence of the Lewis branch in Secunda. She took time to come out to our farm and have a look at the bed herself. She said that the bed indeed was in a terrible state. She promised to look into the matter and see what could be done about it. </p> <p> </p> <p>A vehicle from Lewis Stores in Secunda did come to the farm on a few occasions demanding money for our account - but no news on the bed.</p> <p> </p> <p>On 4 July 2016 we settled the account. Once again my wife asked about the base set. Once again they promised to get back to us - we are still waiting.</p> <p> </p> <p>I want to warn potential buyers to stay as far away as possible from the Lewis Branch in Secunda. They simply do not care. If you really have to buy something from Lewis - please make sure that they are not selling you the stock on the floor. This stock is usually partly damaged as children play on them while their parents are in the shop. (I have seen this on a few occasions)</p> <p> </p> <p>I know that this report will have more intimidating phone calls and visits as a result - but I refuse to keep silent! So, bring them on.</p>
