Lewis store and Monarch Insurance Company are ********

The service at Lewis store in JHB Pritchard street and Monarch Insurance is unprofessional. I got retrenched in July 2020 (due to Covid19) and submitted all required documents to Monarch & Lewis store then.Since submitting all documents for insurance application in July 2020 my furniture insurance only got approved 19th February 2021. My issue is that now they are expecting me to pay +- R9000 in arrears and interest. Mind you in May 2020 I paid R10000 in my monthly installments basically paying in advance to avoid interest accumulation. THE TWO COMPANIES (LEWIS STORES AND MONARCH INSURANCE) DRAGGED THEIR FEET WITH PROCESSING MY CLAIM FOR 7 MONTHS NOW I AM THE ONE WHO HAS TO PAY FOR THE SHORTFALL.Forgot to mentions how they made it sound like Monarch insurance is so professional when they persuade you to take insurance before getting your furniture. All a ****!!!
