Lewis staff giving false names and dropping calls

I would like to report two of the staff members at your Roodepan branch. The one opposite the taxi rank.

My parents went to the in December 2025 to purchase a fridge on account. (my father's account). Which went perfectly well.

My mom then went into the store yesterday to purchase a stove on account as well. My parents are moving back to Cape Town soon and she doesn't need the stove the stove. I then called in this morning and spoke to a Kenele not sure if the spelling is correct on ***. She was extremely rude acting as if she owns me and owns the store.

She kept telling me my mom didn't take out the stove without checking any details of my mother or listening to me. She said she would call my mother which she also hasn't done.

I then called back because she hasn't made contact with my mother and spoke to a lady called Ivon (false name). She had such a bad attitude and wasn't interested in assisting me. Told me her manager is in a meeting, and the contract can't be canceled I must call back another time. When I asked for more details on what to do to cancel the contract she dropped the call.

I called back and she answered again giving me a new name Clarissa. When I asked her why did she end the call she kept saying my manager is in a meeting and dropped the call again. Till now I don't know what this ladies name is. Is this how this store operates and treats customers? Where customers can cancel contracts within 30 days?

They told they can't cancel, the staff ends calls while customers are speaking and is just not interested in assisting? They treat their customers like **** on the call and still give false names?

This is by far the worst experience and I will never recommend anyone to this store or in fact Lewis.

I will also not let my parents do any further business with your store as well because of this experience. It's absolutely ridiculous

I then called back after Ivon or Clarissa ended the call not sure what her actual name is and spoke to Pumla who told me that no one by the name of Clarissa or Ivon works there.

I'm sorry but this is by far the worst experience I've had.
