lewis sending in wrong info to credit beureus

good day i paid up my account with a discount offer from the debt review dept of lewis i recieved a paid up letter stating account paid in full the 18th march 2020 but i paid the whole outstanding amount so lewis refunded the balance after keeping the discounted amount witch looked fair.but to my disapointment they sent a letter to the credit bureus stating still in arreas of the refunded amount.so why do they do that do the differant dept's of lewis comunicate with each other or not.they should have sent instruction to the credit bureus instructing them to update my account as paid up and closed not arreas.and they want to know why they get less customers its due to this kind of performence from lewis.
