Lewis comitting *****
Two years back I bought a few items from lewis stores, tv ,cabinet , microwave, washing machine . the store "clime" same day delivery and that did not happen but I let it be, next day when they did deliver I got aTV that came off the display shelf in the shop( not in a box like a new one should be) and a cabinet that came off the display on the floor, with scratches and peeling. after a big fight with the store manager at that time and 2 weeks later I got a new tv and cabinet. a month later I got a call from the store and the manager asked me to come in so I went. on arrival he asked me to sign the purchase contract so I signed it on the 5 December. and as the manager told me my first payment must be end of December and so it was and ever since I have paid every month. after about 2 months when I went in to pay I was informed im one month in arrears. so I asked how is that since my contract was signed 5 des, but they had invoiced me 23 October long before the delivery's were completed correctly and the second-hand stuff exchanged. I had arguments with the manager at that time and he said he would fix it but did not. later I even talked to the area manager at that time and still nothing. I have spoken to the new manager and he said he would talk to head office and that I would be receiving a call from them. but once again nothing. I called him twice more and still nothing. So for the past 2 + years lewis has affected my credit record showing im in arrears but im not. I have not been able to open accounts at other retailer. But every month I get charged interest on arrears. and for this whole time my Name MY Credit record is and has been affected even when I wanted to open a account to buy my daughter something she wanted for her birthday and Christmas I could not give her what she so wanted. Even after trying 3 different times to open the account at the retailer I was declined. and I am sure lewis is the reason for this or at least a big part off it. Is it standard practice for lewis to de***** customers having them pay interest on arrears that is not real, and to stuff up customers name and reputation. You would say I cant or should not use words like ***** but I can because I have the contract that is dated and payment only starts from the day you have signed the contract. you don't start payment before a agreement(contract) has been reached. im disgusted at the level of service and incompetence of lewis and its staff and the blatant disregard of customers rights.
