Intimidated by Lewis stores.

My name is Lehlohonolo Mthembu. I have 2 accounts with Lewis stores which I took last year. I opened the first account in May 2020 and the second account in October 2020. I was paying my accounts very well till December 2020 when I lost a close family member due to covid-19 and had no choice but to contribute for the burial since the late had no funeral policy and we lived in the same house. Another thing in January 2021 my boss called a meeting right after we reopened for work and informed us that the company is not making money due to 2020 lockdown therefore instead of retrenching some staff members he decided to reduce our salaries till further notice. While all this was happening I was not paying Lewis well. I then decided to call the store to make payment arrangements because I knew that I'm liable of paying my debts and I know very well that Lewis has nothing to do with my problems so I was taking initiative to find a way to pay my monthly installment and arrears in a way that I will also be able to sustain my life as well but instead when I spoke to Charity and Thembani from Lewis stores in Johannesburg Town close to FNB bank city they told me I cannot make any arrangements, that I need to make a full payment in cash or else they will repossess my furniture. As we speak this coming Friday on the 26th March 2021 I'm expected to pay R2000 cash or else I will have to give them the keys to my house so that they can take back the furniture. They come to my workplace almost everyday. And now my boss is starting to have a problem with this because when they arrive at my workplace I have to attend to them and leave what I was doing at work and it's during working hours. I've made afford to try and arrange with them on how to pay back but it's like payment arrangements don't exist with Lewis stores. Please help me I'm seriously stressed out because I will even end up loosing my job in the process. I'm willing to pay and I know that I have to pay but it's like no one wants to hear me out. At this point I even feel like applying for debt consolidation because I feel that maybe it could help me with this matter since I've exhausted my options.
