I earn too much to get credit???

I am a Lewis stores client, am paying them every month more than my contractual amaount, I have a good credit score, I am not over-indebted, have more than enough disposable income, and I want to get extra credit for 2 beds (about R700 per month), problem is, I work for a Debt Counselling company (I think thats the problem??). I wish I knew how its possible for hundreds of our clients to obtain HUGE amounts of credit from Lewis, while they could obviously not afford the credit, but when I apply, with my good credit score and enough disposable income, I have to be scrutinised to the poimt of my company having to supply its CK documents, then to hear that there is a problem because the company did not pay its yearly fee with cipc.. What does this have to do with obtaining credit when I am credit worthy? Do credit providers now run ITC checks on a company that a consumer works for?? It feels like I am being discriminated against for working at a Debt Review company. Not fair....
