Do not buy your furniture at Lewis Furniture Store

I hope some one from senior management for Lewis Furniture Stores can see this and assist.

My mother bought a Kelvinator 4 plate stove last year on January 2017 at Mtubatuba Lewis store in KwaZulu Natal . The stove only worked for 1 month and 2 plates decided not to work qhile the other 2 was only heating very poorly. I went back to Lewis Store for an advice and they said they will speak to the service provide ( Kelvinator) to send technicians to come and check what is the problem. It took them 2 months to get home and they changed all plates. The stove only work that day and the next morning it was not working all 4 plates. I went back again to the store and they called the service provider like before. I had to wait for a month for the technicians to arrive home. They fixed it and they went away. It took only 2 to 3 day and the stove was tripping the power off when uou turn it on. I had to buy a 2 plate stove for my mother so that she can cook whereas every single month she pay the monthly payments.

On the last visit of the technicians, they said the problem is with wiring and they do not have them in their car. They said they recommend that Lewis should give us another stove because it is still under warranty and also insured. They left the stove not working until today. I drive almost every second day to the branch seeking for help and every one including their head office that I peraonally called in keep saying they will do a follow-up until today.

There is no sense of urgency and if it was not for that my mother will have bad credit record, I would have said she must stop paying for that stove. If any one can assist us maybe with Ommbuds number or any court that can assist me please do. My number is ********** my email is **********
