DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Lewis stores Lenasia has the worst staff possible. It is quite evident that they have never been trained to deal with customers. I have been faithfully paying my account and unfortunately lost my job abruptly. The case was awarded to me by CCMA for unfair dismissal. But try telling Lewis this. I had insurance with Lewis but they have rejected this, completely disregarding the fact that I have won the case at CCMA. All proof was sent to them. Irrespective of this I went into the store to make arrangements to pay the account but the treatment received from the branch manager was appalling to say the least. They refused to accept any payment unless it was for the full amount. I had R1500 to pay but they wanted R5000. I have had their driver Fred and admin lady Nomsa visit my house frequently to collect cash payments over the last few months. They are constantly harrasing the neighbour's and my teenage daughter to open the gates to enter the property. Is this even legal? In the last few days they have come to attach the products as I advised them that I have no funds but I am on my way to the branch to make an arrangements. This attachment instruction comes from their regional manager Rian. I have laid an official charge against these individuals and when calling Rian to ask him if the legal process was followed he confirmed that it was and he will get the driver to come back with the court order. I have called him to ask him where's the order but he drops the call after a few seconds of speaking to him. My guess is that he knows this process is ******** and that what he and his staff are doing is *******. Chelsea at the complaints dept seemed very keen to listen to the complaint and provided me with a ref number-819367. She advised that the complaint will be investigated and not even 24 hours later I received a call to say they cannot assist as the goods belong to the branch and if the branch wants the full outstanding installment then I have to pay it. Was an investigation done? Are your staff being disciplined for harrasment and lack of customer service ? Do I entertain your driver and admin people at my house when they come to collect cash? Do I go ahead and let the law prosecute these individuals for harrasment. Do I hand over the items to them without any documents?
