On 3 April 2023 I went to lewis stores Calvinia to buy a washing machine on credit. After realising that I would pay almost 4 times the cash prize, I informed the manager that I'm no longer interested in buying the machine. How ever, on payday they deducted R554.00 from my account, even though I did not sign any contract with them. They got my details by checking if I qualified for credit.
