Complaint to Lewis and Alice Lewis Store Manager

Good Day

i want to complaint about the service i got from Lewis in Alice Eastern Cape. I bought a kitchen scheme on the 08/10/2022 as a surprise gift for my parents. They confirmed that stock is available for the Atlanta Kitchen Scheme.

I sent my Aunt to buy it cash, and it was delivered but the corner cardboard was missing and the sink door was damaged with scratches.

After a month struggling to get help and with no communication from them, I logged a complaint with head office case number 786096, a Lady called Shakira told me that it was out of stock and it was not supposed to be sold. I also made an initiative to go myself to a Lewis Store in Kuilsriver Cape Town and fortunately there was one on the floor then i took it and i will travel with it to the Eastern Cape.

Last week Monday the manager called and promise to fix the damaged door before the end of last week but nothing happened and no calls from anyone till today.

I am very disappointed with the poor service from Lewis and disrespect from that Manager. I feel we were undermined because no effort was made to contact us and even to apologize. It was my last time buying anything from Lewis.
