Badly designed lounge product

Badly designed Lounge Product

Do not buy any lounge product from a Lewis furniture store . You are getting the quality that you are paying for. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP !!!

About November 2015, I bought a lounge suite from Lewis in Pretoria North. Within 2 months the one double seater couchs’ armrest snapped right through and one spring from the seat already snapped out of place. I called them, as the lounge set was still under warranty and after struggling to get them to come at a prearranged time, they eventual replaced it with another one.

The quality of the set is rather poor, it looks like it’s been built by someone who had a one hour deadline to complete a grade 4 woodwork school project.

Now the other double seaters frame is falling apart, after investigation it seems that all the nails pulled out from their mounting blocks.

It cost me a total of R7000 and I got the same worth in quality.

If you want quality rather go to any of Lewis’s competitors or insist that you get a three-year warranty on their lounge products.
