Bad service aswell furniture.

Review for Lewis Stores – Moorreesburg

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Lewis Stores in Moorreesburg.

We purchased a recliner lounge suite for R18,000.00, expecting a brand-new set. However, after delivery it became clear that the furniture is not new. We were informed that the set was collected from another Lewis branch.

One corner of the suite already has a visible mark, and the single Lazy Boy recliner is broken and leans to one side, making it uncomfortable and unsafe to use.

In addition to the poor product quality, the service from the staff in the store, including the manager, was very poor. Our concerns were not handled professionally, and we did not receive the level of customer service one would expect from a well-known retailer.

This situation is unacceptable, especially for furniture sold as new at this price. I sincerely hope management takes this matter seriously and resolves it as soon as possible.
