Attacked

On the 16th of April 2021 at around 15:39 pm,three men from Lewis stores in Schweizer-Reneke branch barged into the premises where I was visiting and started yelling and shouting at me that I must sign the papers they were carrying with them, the other one started assaulting by holding and pushing me to the wall, grabbed me by the clothes, saying that "you want to take white peoples commodities for free". I dont know their names because they were rude and arrogant and did not even introduce themselves. They came with a private car, Toyota Corolla with CapeTown number plates to be precise, I wonder where were they going to put what they were looking for on that kind of a vehicle. They were not even driving the Lewis truck, they were not looking like people who came to collect, their aim was to harass and threaten me. They then started entering the house looking for a tv, they were not even sure whether it was Sinotec or HISENSE. They said their seniors had sent them. They did not find anything they were looking for. The guy kept on insisting that I must sign those papers so that he can go to another step, then I refused and said I wont sign the papers. I even went tothe local Police station in Ipelegeng Location to open a case of assault and two officers that can be identified(I know their names) said that they were within their rights because they were on duty, they said that there are no visible signs of assault on me. They were justifying what they were doing, one of the officers even said thats how Lewis works, he said he was once working at Lewis. They failed to assist me in that regard. The other officer was not even wearing uniform the one who said he was working at Lewis. I came back sad because I did not get any assistance from them, that means when you are on duty you are allowed to go around harassing people even the police officers are allowed to do so, according to them. Is that how Lewis Stores treat their customers??? I am surprised and shocked by this whole experience. I wonder whats next, must I always run when I see a Lewis uniform or car?? Maybe they like to appear on this platform, I will make sure that every encounter I come across I will share with the whole world so that they can know, no matter whether I die tomorrow the whole of South Africa must know who they trully are.Is it because its white peoples company. I am their customer, I have to exercise my rights and I will keep on speaking.
