Arrears good excuse to be rude to a client/misusing customer private data
I have received the worst service from Lewis stores. I purchased a TV and a Fridge on credit with them,. My house was broken into and my TV was ****** and I had to struggle with the actual branch when I claimed. The consultant was so rude to me advising that I have to take a smaller tv cause that is all stock they have available. I got a statement from the branch advising that I purchased to TV's one cash and one on credit. This was way before the claim. The second TV I have no idea of, it's quite concerning as it seems that this tv was sold with my details. What happened to consumers data privacy/protection. This makes me wonder what else can the store do with ones details. I also lost my job so I am in arrears, I went to the branch to advise them that I cannot afford my installments. To top it off my house burnt, causing the goods to be destroyed I contact Lewis insurance directly advising the lady that I do not want to deal with the branch and just like that she told me, they were so rude to me maybe cause my account is in arrears. Is that an excuse for poor customer service?? I would not advise any one to purchase from them as their services sucks. I don't want another person to have the same experience. I can only salute Craig in the insurance department and the lady there that dealt with my previous claim as well as Marcelino in customer care, though I never got a call back like he promised from the investigator. The three of them was the only people who handled me as a client.
