Appalling Services at Lewis Store
I bought an Odyssey bed set on the 11th of April.. And I had noticed that there was something wrong with it within a week.. It's noisy.. It would make creeky sounds when I sit or sleep on it... The legs on the base are weak and flimzy, they cave in, like they bend, the base itself has na irregular shape. Basically it's poor quality.... So I waited thinking it would stop, maybe it's because it's new.
On the 30th of July I decided to report the matter to the store manager @419 Church Street Pietermaritzburg branch, that I'm not happy with the quality of the bed... And they stated that they will replace it after 3 weeks because they would have to speak to the supplier to make a new bed for me, and there are delays because of Covid...it's November now and I did not receive any communication from the store whatsoever.
I emailed the head office on the 15th of November, and I received Telephonic communication that the store will call and arrange for an exchange.. The store called and I asked that they deliver on Thursday as there was no one at home on Wednesday... They did not deliver on Thursday . The lady from the head office called again Thursday to check whether my bed had been delivered, and she would tell me that she'll contact the store.. This Up and Down has been happening till today.
Im appauled by Lewis services. I'm not waisting my energy to bring the bed back and take the new one. They must bring me my bed because it's not my fault that within less than a year a bed will be of such poor quality.
When I directly call the number that phoned me the 1st time they won't pick up. Or they would answer and close the phone.
I don't know what to do anymore, or should I also get the X Repo guy? Maybe my matter will be of concern cause clearly the store is undermining my intelligence.
I'm highly disappointed in Lewis services. It's either you guys give my bed or you give me my money back. I'm sick of this back and forth. I'm Absolutely disgusted and beyond exhausted. It's been too long now.
