Account payment not reflecting
On the 22 June 2015 my husband, Mr. Ken Naicker, made a payment towards his Lewis account of R4500.00 at the Grassy Park branch. Payment was done via eft, card payment. The staff member of Lewis that received the payment was Vanessa September. When the statement dated the 8 July 2015 came in the post, the payment was not reflecting. On the 28th July 2015, my husband then went into the store to query why the payment does not reflect on his account, he was informed that the payment was allocated to another customers account, Mr Lingham Naicker. No relation to us. The staff informed that nothing could be done in store only head office would be able too. In that time till today head office staff only contacted my husband twice, advising him that by the next statement, August, everything should be sorted out. Nothing has changed. Ken, my husband, has been on numerous occasions in the store, where he was constantly told that head office was offline. We recently received a letter from the legal department of Lewis regarding payment. \FINAL NOTICE"letter dated the 14 August 2015. The account is now is arrears that is no fault of ours. We received the September statement nothing changed."""
