1st Arrears

We have an account with Lewis furniture Store in Protea Glen Mall, we paid the deposit in December 14 2022 nd we were supposed to pay our 1st installment in 27 January 2023 via debit order which they didn't deduct, so due to unforeseen circumstances we used the money to pay for something else. Today I was woken up by 2 stuff members of Lewis they came to collect the stuff we took in December because we didn't pay our 1st installment. Does such a thing happen to have your goods taken if u fail to pay only one installment?
