Yes

I bought a pair of Levi's for about R1000.00 about 3 years ago that are manufactured in South Africa and they are freyed on the thighs and around some of the seams. I contacted Levi's SA and put it to them that I think that the denim used is inferior and probsably not up to the spec required by Levi's head office in the USA. Feedback that I got was that the denims are more than 2 years old and therefore not under warranty. This is not the point. These denims should not be in this condition if the correct denim was used in the 1st place. And there is no recourse since there is no way of sending an email to the headoffice in the USA. I would just like for them to see the denims I have and for them to to make an assesment and determine if the denims are up to specification.
