Poor quality of mens levi jeans

I bought my husband a pair of Levi's from Edgars in the Garden Route Mall, and within the first 6 months, it ripped in the crotch when he lifted his leg to step onto a chair.<br> Thinking that this was maybe just a 'bad batch', I bought him another pair. Well, lo and behold, they too ripped, and not even when he lifted his leg high, they just ripped when he was walking normally. Now, I might be wrong, but when you pay such a high price for an item of clothing, you expect it to last a bit longer than a few months. <br> I would just like to know how the quality on such an expensive pair of denims can be this shocking?!<br> This happened last year, but i only got to know about this website today.
