Levi's Springfield Park Durban not sticking to their prices

I went to the Levi's Springfield Park outlet on Sunday and was helped by a lady named Sima. I fitted a jeans, asked what the price was and Sima said it was R449. I said that I would come back the next day to purchase it.

When I got back today (Monday), Sima was off and I was helped by a guy named Sabe, who told me that the jeans costs R699. I told him I was there the day before and I was told the price was R449, which is why I drove out of my way to fetch it before going home to Cape Town.

At first I was met with attitude and Sabe did not believe me, until I described Sima in detail and he confirmed it was her. I then asked for the manager (Zinale) who basically told me I'm mistaken because her staff know the prices and don't get the prices wrong. However the day before when we asked her about prices of the golf shirts, she wasnt sure and had to check the system.

The manager said that there's no way of changing the price on the system to charge me the price I was "quoted". Her story then changed and she said it could have been that the price on the system changes on a Monday.

I was told yesterday that the price is R449. I told Sima I was coming back today to get the jeans. I went out of my way to go back today and I was told the jeans is R699 and the staff there could not do anything to correct their mistake.
