Utilities disconnected no water for 8 days!

I am so fed-up with incompetence between the Landlord and the letting agent, we are now without water for 8 concequtive days. My elderly mum of 70 carries bugets water from the pool (bleesed are we to have a pool) boil water on the stove just so we can have a wash, we cant cook and I have animals.

This is not acceptable!

WITHOUT PREJUDICE AND WITH ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. The above statement is not 100% accurate.

The lack of water WAS NOT entirely due to disconnection WHICH WAS NOT the fault of the letting agency.

The disconnection was due to the C o J taking forever to open the new owners account.

Once the account became available a month ago in typical C o J fashion immediate payment was required of a hefty amount. Unfortunately there was a delay in the owner paying the account which resulted in the disconnection.

We were informed by C o J the water was reconnected.

To further compound the problem there was an area wide water shutdown by C o J for maintenance for 24 hours which was widely publicised. Once the water was was restored after the shutdown, it takes time for all the reservoirs to fill who in turn need to push water through the kilometres of empty pipes and build up pressure. It can take up to 2 days for the pipes and reservoir to fill and pressure to build up.

The day after the water was restored after the shutdown a massive water pipe burst in the area which caused another shut down and delay in water being supp**** to a large area.

Staff were on the phone constantly with C o J for updates despite the demands the water be restored even thought there was an area wide shutdown and then a burst water pipe.
