LETTING PEOPLE - *******

Please stay away from renting property from Letting People, they are *******. I read a few reveiws and everyone seems to complain about the same thing - they charge people absolute mad prices to "clean" a flat that was super clean when I moved out. they charged me R1650 for cleaning - myself and a my **** washed and cleaned the 2 bedroom little flat- cupboards/walls/ stove everything before I handed over the keys. they have charged me R3445 to fix a small piece of wall that the plaster came off not even 5inches long - which I must tell you just fell out as it had been patched before and to "COLOUR CODE" normal builders contractors white paint - must have filled it with gold chips if you ask me to charge R3445??????? oh and to change a light switch - which to me is wear and tear to me - also gold plated must be. I must say I didnt even put a nail in the walls nothing. They just use your money as they please and you must just be happy with the little change they pay you after using and abusing your hard earned money. I begged them for 1 year to paint the bathroom where the paint was peeling off the walls and roof, as well as the bathroom cabinet that was falling apart to replace it, stove that was never working properly - this they cannot do but charge you a arm and a leg to so call "fix" things when you move out. Stay away from Letting People!!!!!!!!!!!
