excessively high electricity bill
I was billed excessively high electricity usage when I know I use much much less.
I have contacted Susan from Letting People to investigate matter give me feedback and to have the
bill corrected before pay date, however I have not had any kind of feedback whatsoever although the matter has been passed on to the body corporate. It has been a month since I reported this and still no feedback. I had explained to Susan that I would prefer not to pay more than I should because the error would not be on my side therefore I rather not be inconvenienced with my finances.
Also the property has been sold to another investor but my problem has been neglected and never received any feedback of any kind. i also emailed the Principal of Letting People Jacques Erasmus regarding this and he also never bothered to follow up or respond.
It appears that Letting People a very quick to penalize and throw extra charges this way and that and yet no one
cares if they are at fault or they find it unimportant and there's no reason for them to do follow ups at all
when a tenant has an problem but very efficient on follow ups and extra charges when a tenant is supposedly in breach of contract
Every single request for an investigation regarding electricity consumption was referred to Key Management who administer the complex and are in charge of the electricity readings. In all instances you have been provided with feedback by email, in most instances you were included in the email correspondence between Letting People and Key Management as well as telephonically, as recently as a week ago. Susan as well as the OWNER have pointed out to you that the periods you are disputing are WINTER MONTHS in addition to which THE READINGS FALL OVER THE PERIOD OF THE OVER 12% PRICE INCREASE IN ELECTRICITY. In the event, with the sale of the unit, they discover there is in fact a cable problem, Key Management will have to correct it and in the event a credit is due on the electricity they will pass one which will be passed onto you. The allegations that no-one ever responds or provides feedback is untrue, during my investigation of your complaint that you \have never received feedback\" I have read many emails replies to your query therefore your allegations are without merit. A tenant who fails to pay the rent account in full on time IS automatically in breach of contract.,"2015-10-30 11:47:39,NULL
