The Letting ******

I note I am also one of the many tenants that is disgusted by The Letting Corporation. They have no care or compassion for their tenants

I rented a unit for my aged mom. They have an ewallet system that deducts rental, electricity and water automatically from the account. Should the account not have enough funds in it they automatically cut the electricity. This occurred on several occasions.

No detailed billing was ever forwarded and the amount of consumption charged for could not have been accurate considering the unit did not make use of a washing machine and was only fitted with 2 shower no bath.

After my first year my mom needed to be moved to a better facility and I explained my situation explaining my mom needed more care and gave a months notice, TLC forwarded me a early exit form that was completed stating my reasons.

To my shock an outgoing inspection was carried out with unreasonable changes eg: paint walls that did not need painting I even demonstrated that a cloth and water would clean the walls.

They have NO compassion for their tenants especially the elderly and are withholding my full deposit. The quotes I have received from “their” contractors are day light *******, their contractors do not seem to be registered company’s as there are no addresses, VAT or registration numbers on their quotes. Their prices are excessively high. We will be taking this matter further.
