I curse the day I saw an ad by this travel agency.

I would love to leave 0 stars but it’s not possible. From the beginning of our travels, communication from the agency was horrible. We unfortunately had to keep hounding them to continue planning our trip as we had already paid deposits. On our end, we had changes in people pulling out which affected how the bookings are made but we communicated at every point to avoid any issues. Unfortunately this was not enough for the company as they continued to make avoidable errors and not communicating with us for days on end. For people who started planning this trip 3 months before, we only got all our bookings and tickets 3 days before the trip, we were truly living by faith at that point. Just as we thought our issues were done when we left South Africa, we arrived in a foreign country where no one understands us with no information about our transfers that the agency had “arranged”. We were booked layover flights at different airports across these foreign cities which we once again had to account for ourselves (in addition to the lump sum we had already paid to cover costs for things like transfers, as this is what you expect from a travel agency). Just when you think things won’t get any worse, our last flights home were separated at the last point after the itinerary the travel agency had shared with us had the same flights from the start. A detour; their website was also coincidently leaked so anyone who visited it could see all our flight details which was a HUGE safety concern (coincidence or syndicate.. hm). My mistake was not reading the e-ticket correctly and assuming the agency would be competent enough to book us the same flights all the way through as they had for the others. I’m starting to believe they’ve never actually planned a trip to the country we visited (or any country really). Although all I’ve said is pretty horrible already, I think the worst part is that the agency refuses to take accountability for anything and keep throwing blame at different people. I curse the day I saw an ad by the brand which lead me to them and after further speaking about them, have heard similar complaints from people I don’t even know personally. Use at own risk.
