The public need to know that this company is a complete **** in all senses of the word. We looked up LG customer Service on the Internet, because we had several faults on our tumble dryer. We unfortunately found this company!! My wife called the number which is displayed on the website +***0 and spoke to a person who said his name was "Simon" which is probably fictitious. This person duly arrived with a helper on 24th March 2026. He opened the dryer cleaned out a large amount of fluff and told my wife that he had replaced the "condenser pump" Simon generated an invoice in the amount of R1836.00. This included the call out fee of R650.00, the balance was for the "replacement pump" The invoice states that the repair carries a 6-month warranty. I paid the full amount on 24th March 2026. Simon confirmed with my wife that he had received the payment. The dryer worked for a few days beautifully and then started leaking water again and the same faults returned. My wife spoke to Simon on 21st April 2026 informing him of the issues. Simon instructed my wife to lie the Dryer on its back so that the water could run out she then had to lean the dryer forward so that the water could come out of the front. This we did this on 2nd May 2026. My wife then messaged Simon to inform him that the dryer was still leaking and that the original faults had all come back while she was drying clothes. In the same message my wife asked Simon to return on Monday 4th May 2026 to rectify the faults. My wife never heard anything from Simon. On 6th May 2026 my wife sent pictures to Simon showing him where the water was leaking out of the dryer and asking him to advise when he would be coming out to repair the dryer. Simon returned a message asking to make an appointment for Friday 8th May 2026. My wife accepted and asked Simon to be our house at 10H00 on Friday 8th May 2026. No reply was received from Simon. On 9th May 2026 my wife messaged Simon to come and resolve the faults or to refund the R1836.00 in full. All the messages sent to Simon by my wife were read. To date we have never heard from Simon again we also have not had a refund. Because we were receiving no responses, I laid out the above as a complaint on the LG Customer support website. I received a call from Shaun Tinkler from LG who had read my complaint. Shaun informed me that he was appalled by the contents of my complaint. Shaun also informed me that LG has no record of Let Me Fix Appliances or of Simon being an LG service technician also that there is no such part as a condenser pump for our tumble dryer. Shaun was extremely helpful and booked a call out for an LG technician Charles to come out, for which we have had to pay an additional R680.00 call out fee. Charles came to our premises on Friday 22nd May 2026, he has investigated the matter and has informed us that whoever Simon was he did not carry out any repair at all on the dryer and in fact Charles had to clean out the dryer filter which Simon said he had done. Charles told me that because the dryer is older than 10 years spares are no longer available for our model because it is past End of Life, therefore the original water pump, which was not replaced, is still faulty. This reinforces the fact that we had been ****med by Simon. No one should use Let Me Fix Appliances EVER.

In early January 2026 I contacted Let Me Fix Appliances on cell number *** to undertake repairs to 3 of my appliances. On previous occasions they had repaired my appliances satisfactorily. They quoted me R6900 for all the repairs. This included an amount of approximately R 2500 to replace the megaton on my Sharp microwave. I duly did an eft payment to them. The next day they repaired 2 of the appliances satisfactorily and informed me that the part for the Microwave was on order with Sharp and would be rad soon as it was repaired. After 4 weeks I contacted them and was told that the part was received and a technician would replace it the next day. After a period of two days of waiting no technician turned up. When I tried calling them my calls were ignored. The next day I used another phone and called them,, it was answered and was told that the technician had the part with him and would call him to ask him why he didn’t fix my microwave and would call me back to report on the situation but never called back. I tried calling him on two of the phones that were used and was never answered. I therefore I urge prospective clients not to trust them.
