Begging for answers I just never seem to get

I am in the process of selling my families late estate. The estate agent guaranteed me that when u signed I would be able to get a advance as I am financially stuck..afer weeks of back and forth with very little response i thought i had finally reached the end- however (me to agent) 11 july "Right everything should be sorted with the lawyers- has the buyer signed what's happening with the municipality? What else must I do in order to sort myself out . This process is meant to be easy and convenient for the buyer as well as the seller that is why there are other people involved."- not a word. So I message further "One of my friends has passed away .....I need some money to get to his family urgently.... I get no answers from anyone.... I feel like I'm begging.... If I knew it would be like this then I wouldn't have gone through with it." And still not one word.
