Handed over with no prior notice

I have been with this company for 3 years + now and not once in that entire time have I been handed over. In Jan 2018 I requested an updated statement and then I was informed that I was handed over. To whom? When? No answers were given. Lo and behold, not an hour later I get an email from LexMed, the company I was handed over to, informing me that I owe them R2500 when my initial balance with LB was under R250. How did it get to that? Only they know. Not only am I dissapointed in the random handing over by LB but more so that I wasn't even informed and then to TOP IT OFF I received an email from LexMed this morning to say that I was handed over in June 2017.........hahaha not paying!
