Cancellation of membership

I signed up for leisure books bookclub on the 16 th October 2014 and purchased my 1st order then , due to stydying purposes i unfortunately had to cancel my membership on the 27th January 2015. I've send through my termination letter to all the departments including accounts and quiries , to my suprise they only responded to my enquiry on the 9th February 2015 confirming a wrong start date and penalising me for terminating my membership with them :-( i'm utterly disappointed with the outcome of their communication
