Pathetic Service at Lesedi

I was admitted in the early hours of Monday morning and had to sleep at the Maternity ward as the other wards were full. Which it quite fine with me.<br style="max-height: 999999px;" /><br style="max-height: 999999px;" />On Wednesday I was transferred to a different ward where there was no bed prepared for me. I waited for over 4 hours to get a bed. As if that was not enough, the staff in ward 4 have a terrible attitude with less interest in the patients.<br style="max-height: 999999px;" /><br style="max-height: 999999px;" />The nights were noisy. On Wednesday evening, I informed one of the nurses who was giving medication that evening that my drip seems to have slipped out of place as it is now painful. He adamently told me that there is nothing wrong as my hand was not swollen, not putting into consideration the pain I was telling him about. The drip was eventually changed by a different stuff member whom I also had to run after and who actually had to see the drip leaking before she could change it. This happened 24 hours after the intial request and till now, my hand is still swollen.<br style="max-height: 999999px;" /><br style="max-height: 999999px;" />While waiting for our requests to be attended to, the staff blatantly ignores us to talk about their private conversations such as MMM to mention but a few. <br style="max-height: 999999px;" /><br style="max-height: 999999px;" />I was discharged on Friday before 12, it took the nurses 3 hours to complete my discharge form. This is after I had to ask how far they were with it.<br style="max-height: 999999px;" /><br style="max-height: 999999px;" />I asked for the Patient Satisfactory Questionnaire before leaving the hospital and I did not receive it.<br style="max-height: 999999px;" /><br style="max-height: 999999px;" />I was made to leave with a drip on my hand which I had to remove when I got home.<br style="max-height: 999999px;" /><br style="max-height: 999999px;" />We pay a lot of money to receive such appalling services from Lesedi. I am greatly disappointed at the staff and the services rendered by them. I would not recommend the hospital to any loved one. If this is the treatment we receive, we might as well go to a public hospital like Bara.</span></span></div>
