Shocking service by Bongi - Leroy Merlin Greenstone

Shocking experience at the greenstone store 19 November 2023. I used to shop here often and the service has deteriorated. Slowing getting like Builders Warehouse.

I went to the paint department, was helped by a lovely gentlemen in a plascon T shirt. I needed to get the colour from the car so I left quickly and came back. There was a lady, Bongi in the department who was uninterested. On her phone im the department. Screamed for the “plascon” guy to come assist however he was not available. She said “I think his on tea” She didn’t immediately ask me if she can help until I said “so I can’t get assistance” She then assisted but clearly unhappy and not willing to assist (Maybe it’s because I interrupted while she was on her phone) I needed a colour in Duran but she said she cannot mix plascon or Duram. Instead of providing me with a solution, she said she can’t until I insisted that all I need is the same colour but in Duram.

When I told her that the service was shocking and i would inform her manager, she confidently said okay and quickly gave me his name. Clearly doesn’t care about how she treats her customers.

Sadly, I will not shop at this branch again, rather try chamberlain
