Selling products they can't supply

I ordered two Lasher saws from this company via their website. Both were listed as "in stock" and the website accepte my order and payment for same. The website noted that no deliveries would take place on Saturdays, then estimated that my order would be delivered the following Saturday. Uh-huh.

Then I received a phone call on Sunday (!) to inform me that one of the saws was not in stock and would not be back in stock, because the product had been discontniued. I was promised a refund on my credit card for the price of the missing item in my order.

An email followed, promising me a tracking number "soon" so I would know when my order was set to arrive. No such tracking number was supp****. This morning I received an SMS from the courier to inform me that the order would be delivered today, without any previous warning. Fortunately we were lucky and someone was home to accept it.

I have NOt received my refund as promised; instead the overpaid amount is now listed on the invoice as "Purchase Voucher", which is NOT what I agreed to!!

I logged in to their online "Refund and Return Portal" where it says that "Products are on the way, please wait for our delivery partner to reach." (sic)

Meanwhile, the Leroy Merlin website STILL lists the item they can no longer supply as "3 in stock for delivery", even after I ordered one of the 3 that were supposed to be in stock and that Leroy Merlin can no longer supply!! The website still offers them for sale and will happily take your payment for it! Good luck getting your payment refunded!

How they continue to get away with running a business like this is beyond me.
