Online order approved on discontinued stock

Ordered something online. Order was confirmed and all. 2 weeks later - on supposed day of delivery initially indicated - I give them a call since I've had no communication from them on the delivery. They mention that they have no stock and that the item has been discontinued!! Ridiculous online systems and service. I could have made another plan ages ago. Won't be buying online here ever.
