She refused to look at my phone and said that she's not interested in the law as they have a different policy. I told her that I'm a lawyer and that unfortunately you cannot override the law, your "policies" need to be in line with the Consumer Protection Act otherwise it is invalid. When she said she was not interested in the law, I pulled out my phone and started recording her. She then went away for about 20 minutes and eventually returned. While she was away, I asked the squint guy what her name was so I could report her and he refused to give me her name. So he does not know his own bosses name. Sis on him, disgusting. I remembered that I was recording, so I just watched back and saw her name is "Ofentse". I was still recording her and asked her "if I had the box, would I get refunded?". She refused to answer me. I repeated my question 20 times and she refused to answer me. She refused to answer me because she knew that she could not answer yes or no without admitting that she was wrong. If anybody high up at Leroy Merlin wants a copy of the video, I am happy to send it. I kept asking to speak to her manager and she kept telling me that she is the boss. I told her that she does not own Leroy Merlin and therefore she reports to someone. She told me her manager is out of the country and is completely unreachable by phone. She kept repeating that she would not refund me without the box and would not answer me about why she is not following the law. I am going to put the video you on social media so everyone can see how we were treated. Eventually her manager (the one who was apparently out of the country) arrived. Wow, that was a heck of a quick flight! She told us that we can have a refund. We thanked her, got our refund and left. Ofentse, your attitude was sickening. You don't deserve to have a job anywhere, let alone Leroy Merlin. Knowing you were wrong, but unwilling to admit it because of your pride. You were willing to ***** R3500 from me to spare your pride. Sis on you! You should not be a manager anywhere on earth. Will never be returning to Leroy Merlin ever again and I will be showing everyone the video so they can boycott Leroy Merlin as well. Refusing to answer the question after 20 times of it being asked because you know you are wrong and you are trying to ***** my money. Yuck!
