NO order delivery, NO Feedback

I was so impressed with pricing on specific hardware advertised by LMSA on their website. I placed an order for an item showing in stock on the 23rd of June. The delivery time was shown as 7-10 working days so expect the delivery around the 3rd. I phoned a couple of times in that week to find out what the state of my order was with no answer from anybody at the call centre. I requested several callbacks that did not help.

I did however received a message around the 3rd saying they were out of stock and that the new stock will arrive on the 16th if not sooner. Well, needless to say, all further call to clarify this was unanswered.

My order still shows as in a "Preparation" state.

I’ve sent some emails to the listed email addresses to find out what is going on, but to no avail.

I am starting to wonder if this company is *****ing my money, if they have any intent to send me the product I’ve ordered, if the price is going to be the same with the new stock coming in and what state the product will be in once delivered.

With this type of service, I really DREAD having to return the order

I am very concerned about my R9000 I deposited to their account.

To date, I have had NO feedback whatsoever regarding my order except for a message saying it will be delayed.

Once/if this order is delivered, it will be THE LAST TIME I will EVER do business with LMSA!

So, I received a call from LMSA about an hour after posting on HP. I spoke to Shanice, and she confirmed that they have one unit in-store when I queried the fact that the web site showed “in stock” at the time of order. Shanice mentioned that this is a demo unit and that they cannot ship this to me (should this then be shown as in stock). I accepted this as my order was for a NEW and NOT a USED or DEMO unit. Shanice further stated that they have placed an order and that the supplier should have delivered new stock on the 13th and that the supplier did not show. She suggested I cancel the order and that they refund me. My guess can only be that the new stock comes in at a higher price and that they cannot deliver a NEW unit at the sold (listed) price, hence the request to cancel the order. The request for me to cancel the order is, in my opinion, a very sneaky suggestion on their side. This was the first suggestion Shanice had and nothing wrt to finding the item I ordered, the time it will take or how long it will take to get it to me. I requested she follows up with the supplier wrt the delivery date of their NEW stock. Shanice then stated that she does not have the authority to do that (sigh) and that this process (long story) could take another week. I suggested she get hold of the planner (the person that places orders I suppose) and provide feedback to me before the CoB today. Note: After waiting for almost a month, another week will not **** me. As this post is sent Friday evening, you guessed it, Shanice did NOT phone back as agreed.

DISAPOINTED!

I received a call from LMSA this afternoon at around 17:30 and spoke to Alfred. He stated that an order for my unit was never placed on the supplier. Apparently the person responsible was retrenched. This means Shanice misled me on her call on Friday when she assured me an order WAS in fact placed on the supplier and that they are at fault for not delivering.

Alfred continued that this new order was placed yesterday, that they’ve been invoiced and that they will receive the unit tomorrow (Tuesday). I queried the 7-10 day delivery time, and he assured me that the unit shall be delivered to me in Cape Town before the end of the week. Let's see how this plays out.

I received a call from LMSA around 16:30 this afternoon and spoke to Alfred Baloi.

He mentioned that they did not receive their stock on Tuesday as mentioned in our previous conversation, but, confirmed (again) that they will receive the relevant stock this coming Friday.

He said that he will dispatch the order immediately and that I should receive the order within 24 hours. This means that I should receive my order on Saturday the 25th, more than a month after it was placed.

I GET FROM LMSATHIS IS A BIG LOAD OF BS AND EMPTY PROMISES.

I phoned Alfred Baloi at around 14:00 today to follow up on the order that he ASSURED they will ship TODAY for delivery on Saturday. He stated that the order is on its way and will phone around 14:30 to confirm delivery times.

I phoned him again at 16:00 to check as I did not hear from him as he promised. He stated that the order was delivered to their warehouse (not the store) and that it needs to be released from there before he can ship the unit. So, he did not actually receive the order as they have some internal process that prohibits them from shipping orders from their warehouse to their clients. I am not convinced that they actually received the order.

He ASSURED me (again) that it will be shipped on Monday. He further just blamed the supplier.

When I queried the fact that the unit was only ordered on the 19th of July as he stated in our conversation on the 20th, and not earlier as the unit was paid for on the 23rd of June, he denied this and stated the unit was on order for more than a month. He continued to explain that the supplier is at fault. It sounds like they have not received any orders from this supplier and that no one bothered to follow up, or perhaps this is where the BS starts.

When I queried the fact that he stated that the order will be delivered to them on the 21st and that it would be delivered to me today, he could not argue but ASSURED me it will be shipped on Monday.

When I queried the fact that he ASSURED me the order will be delivered to me on Saturday, he blamed the supplier but ASSURED me it will be shipped on Monday.

He stated that this order is of the highest priority. I very much doubt this as it does not actually look like anyone follows up with any of the suppliers at all. They have NO IDEA on what order are placed, what is on the way and or when it will arrive.

Their ASSURANCE that things are of the utmost importance is ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS.

ALL I GET FROM LMSA IS A LOT OF HOT AIR AND EMPTY PROMISES.

Let's see what happens on Monday - more BS I suppose!

I phoned Alfred Baloi on Monday the 27th around 11:30 – he still does not have the unit in hand but assured me it would be sent. I do not have any confirmation (actual proof as in an order or delivery note) from LMSA that they actually ordered or receive the unit in question.
