No Delivery!

Wish I came to Hello Peter before I placed an online order with Leroy Merlin for building materials... They clearly have a reputation of poor service "delivery" in this regard.

I placed my order a week ago (25 November) and the order was supposed to be delivered on 30 November. I phoned during the day (30 Nov) to confirm that the delivery would happen and was assured it was on track. We planned with contractors for work to commence on 1 December. The delivery never happened.

I contacted the call center on the morning of 1 December and they spent the better part of an hour tracing my order and getting in contact with the store who is supposedly preparing the order. The sore was going to phone me directly within 15min. After an hour I was back on the line and they got me in touch with Thulani (the manager) at the Little Falls Store. Thulani promised that my order would be delivered on 1 December... It is now the evening of 1 December and there is no delivery.

We have been strung along with empty promises and it is messing me and the contractors who planned their week around my project around to no end.
