LEROY MERLIN UNRELIABILITY

I am so frustrated with Leroy Merlin….. seriously unreliable company! 13 Aug: I place a Leroy Merlin online order for an expensive Inverter Generator which showed 2 items available. I go through the checkout and it accepts my full payment for item and delivery fee. 15 Aug: The amount is deducted from my account but I have still not received a confirmation email by then. 18 Aug: I try making contact with Leroy Merlin on their tedious helpline. Between adverts they offer to phone back if you leave your number. I request callbacks but get no return calls. 19 Aug: I persevere until getting hold of an agent (Desire). She promises to call me back the same day after investigating. I get no call. 20 Aug: I repeat the process and speak to another agent (Martha) who promises to investigate and phone back “by tomorrow latest”. The call never comes! 20 Aug: I send Leroy Merlin an email requesting confirmation and status of my order. 21 Aug: Receive a generic reply to email stating I can anticipate a reply to my request in 48 HOURS! In frustration I send return email demanding urgent response to request. No reply at time of writing this report.(25 Aug) 21 Aug: I repeat process and get hold of an agent (Hezron Ngobeni) who personally committed to help after listening to complaint. I requested that he send me an email confirming that my payment had been received which he did. However, all stock was SOLD OUT! Why did Leroy Merlin online sell the generator that I had paid for? After-all it is impossible to go to the checkout when no stock is available. Something is wrong. I am now left with no option but to wait another month for new stock to arrive…. COME ON LEROY MERLIN!! In addition: I placed an online order for Gorilla tubs and got an order number. I follow up and it is allocated to someone else for another type of item. How does this happen? I register as a client and receive a client number. I follow up and discover it is in someone else’s name. How does this happen? COME ON LEROY MERLIN!!
