Leroy Merlin ********* supplier

I am the Operations Director of a construction company, I personally drove to Leroy Merlin to select the building materials we urgently required to finish a project. I paid for the materials and told the employee that our truck would collect the following day, security also confirmed. When our driver arrived he was told that the materials were sold. Our project carries penalties and we have now missed the deadline. Our company buyer called Leroy Merlin for a refund only to be told we have to drive there for it. I ask you with complete frustration, who is going to carry the costs of someone driving there for this refund. If you cannot manage your sales/stock holding, take responsibility. Leroy Merlin is clearly just another company not able to produce the level of service as every company out there always promises but never really takes responsibility. Next week our marketing division will receive instruction to create a website running google adwords to ensure other companies/individuals are warned in what to expect from Leroy Merlin
