Leroy Merlin Poor service delivery
I am still waiting for feedback on the delivery of my order……
I placed and paid for this order online on the 11th of August and told to expect delivery within 7 to 10 days. I have now waited 50 days and still have not received the full order.
At the time of placing the order, your system showed more than enough stock of all the items that I ordered which is why I placed the order with Leroy Merlin in the first place. This tells me that you have taken my money and subsequently sold the items to instore customers.
The job that I was contracted to do has now been standing for 7 weeks.
I am tired of holding on listening to irritating music in the hope that someone will assist me, in most instances the call times out before being answered.
I am very disappointed with the service that I have received.
Besides my review on Hellopeter, I also called their helpline and was told that a manager would get back to me before the end of the day. At the time I thought why not within the hour, but was happy to wait the whole day as I believed that someone would finally sort out my problem. I'm still waiting for that call as well.
In a previous email to their help centre, I suggested that they could substitute the product with a brand that they have in stock, again no reply.
When buying from a company it is important to evaluate their after-sale service, I'm afraid that Leroy Merlin has failed dismally.
Who knows, maybe today someone might find the time to give me a call, but I won't hold my breath because I'm sure they are too busy focusing on taking peoples money rather than sorting out their shortcomings. I mean, they already have my money so what's the rush.
