Leroy merlin pathetic after sales service

Please don't buy online for you might not get want you ordered as well as was sent a DYI item with no instruction manual nor pamphlet with what items should be included. After many attempts to obtain these and getting no joy, I decide to return the item but was told by a third party for Leroy merlin has not much after sales service that shipment back was my responsibility and if they deemed fit they would return my money. This is ridiculous for if it's an incomplete item why does that fall on me? Plus why am I dealing with a 3rd party whom I didn't purchase from directly? Where is leroy merlin now?
