Leroy Merlin does not prioritise customer care

On 19 May I order a shelving system online from Leroy Merlin. Delivery was promised for the 29th of May. On the morning of the 2nd of June I wrote to ask about my delivery. Two hours later I received a reply from Confidence that my email had been forwarded to the store. No feedback had been received by the following morning, the store having had the whole afternoon to respond. In fact my original complaint should not have been necessary. Their system promised delivery by 29 May and their system should have flagged that the delivery did not happen. They should have contacted me first. How long would they have waited to address this failure to deliver, if I had not contacted them? It seems to me that Leroy Merlin does not prioritise customer care

So it turns out that you don't have stock of the item that you sold me. This is in contravention of the Consumer Protection Act which make your treatment of my order even more despicable. No proactive communication and then you claim no stock. I have been waiting for over two weeks for an order that will never arrive. To be honest, apologies don't cut it.
