Leroy Merlin and Kandua installations

Leroy Merlin should umpartner with Kandua Installation as it has ************* service providers which will tarnish the image of such a big company. I was naive to fully trust the Kandua installation since I got it from a big company Leroy Merlin. I used Leroy Merlin online My story is as follows: (email I wrote to Kandua) Immediately i got messages on my phone stating that so and so from Kandua wants to contact me regarding the job i wanted to be done. It also happened Nsimbi was one of the welders who contacted me both via whattsapp and call. He called and we discussed that I wanted security gates installed at my house. We made an appointment and he came it was a Tuesday 11 May. The morning before the appointment he even called to confirm. He arrived at my house and took the measurements and we agreed on the price. I told him i need to discuss it with my husband first. Me and my husband agreed that his prices were fair. He initially said deposit is R3800. I told him that we can pay R2000 and the rest monthend after he had done the job. Hw was to install the gates on 15th May. He agreed and I asked him to send me a quotation with the banking details. He did send us the quotation as attached on the 12th of May. That evening my husband made a payment and sent him proof of payment. He acknowledged payment and said he can now only come on the 22nd of May instead of 15May. Wednesday 19 May I asked him the time he was going to come on Sat so that we can make arrangements to be available. That is when i started becoming suspicious. He only blue ticked my message and wasnt picking up my calls. I kept calling and he later said he will call me in 20mins to confirm time but he will come on Saturday and he never got back to me.

Yesterday 21 May i sent him a message around 4 pm asking him what time he would arrive today 22 May. He did not respond. I called several times and he was now hanging up our calls. He then said they got hijacked 2 days ago and I told him to stop lying, why was he only mentioning it now. In the morning around 5 am 22 May 2021 he sent a message to say he cannot come. He can only do so during the week. I called and he hung up on me. I kept calling he then said he is stuck in Mpumalanga. He will get his car on Monday. I told him i was now escalating the issue. That is when he responded that he can come on Tuesday morning. I asked for a specific time he didnt respond.

I believe you clearly state that you do background check. Why would you let people like that prey on innocent people? We gave him R2000. See attached documents. I started loking for him and i got the attached too that he is dishonest. And you still let people like that and even assure us that they have been verified.
