Leroy Merlin accounting system FAILURE

I ordered 2 solar panels from Leroy Merlin on 16 July BUT, because their online order form refused to accept that the delivery address differs from my business address (I live on a remote farm - no courier deliveries allowed, hence the delivery address belongs to my friend who lives in the city), I sent an Email requesting that the invoice must include my VAT number and my business address. The delivery was successful (to my friend's address) but the invoice reflects my friend's address and does not include my VAT number, hence the invoice for this transaction is USELESS and will not be accepted by SARS. I followed up with an Email on 01 Aug 2024 requesting an invoice reflecting my business address and VAT number, but to no avail. If your accounting system is sensitive (i.e. subject to SARS audits), think twice before dealing with Leroy Merlin!
