Leroy and Merlin refund process

Had a shocking experience in regards to trying to get my refund. I am still waiting. It's 10 days and the service regarding my refund is pathetic.

I was instructed by a leroy and Merlin employee to throw the damaged boots away. Instead I gave them to a homeless person the day I was told too.

Since then I have not received my refund in order to purchase a pair of boots for work. I have been patiently waiting and in doing so have been getting into trouble at my work as they funded me the money to get the safety boots.
