Job rejection in Leroy Merlin South Africa (Fourways)

I was once invited for an interview at Leroy in fourways, the interview was smooth until one HR guy joined our interview called Jabu Ntuli. The black African brother told me straight that I don’t have matric but I have a NQF level 4 training certificate. I told Jabu Ntuli the HR guy that I previously worked and app**** with the same certificate, but he rejected me. So my question to the company and fellow South Africans is that what does one have to do to get a job in the retail sector, with this high employment rate in our country when times are tough. Some of our black people are failing us and it’s difficult finding a job in our country. I’ve never been arrested nor been in the bad side of the law but I’m a dedicated hard working young person whose just seeking for employment. The brother was very harsh kindly please assist whoever that can reach out.
