FALSE ADVERTISING !!!

Bought a few times from the store but I was very disappointed :(

I was looking to buy replacement batteries for my UPS. When I got there the ones I wanted which were on the website were not in stock (ACDC 12v 7.2AH - R215). I asked the store assistant and he said its for online ordering only :( . The only unit available was Forbatt 12v 7.2AH which was R350 which was over R100 more and I had to buy more than one so I was not happy. While I was in store there was an announcement that they will match any price. So I had a look on takealot and found the battery for R264. So I was running out of time as I was on lunch so I was gonna come back later. When I showed the employees in the store they said they dont match the price only the cashiers were able to confirm this lol. I came back later stating by the info desk what I wanted to do at around 16:40. They said I needed a loyalty card so I was directed to a section in the store. I get there the person at the desk the person who does the loyalty cards is not there and had left, but they said I could use the app which I did and was easy to use. Now I got the batteries and went to the cashier and they had to get the supervisor to assist his name was Joseph. So I was asked to wait a side and they helped other customers. It was over 20 minutes of waiting with no answer. The guy eventually comes back and says they dont match prices on promo so I was like ***. So I said to him lets check online at other places and found the exact battery at GeeWiz for R219 so he said he was gonna check with his manager, never saw him again and they pushed me to the side as they were helping customers another 20min later I went and asked whats up the cashier eventually had to go find the ***ard and he came back then it seemed some other supervisor said that they must contact Christina who now was not answering her phone 10min later she arrives cause someone fetched her and I explained and she said they only match prices with competitor stores and Geewiz was not one of them and they cant do the takealot price as it is a promo and they also dont match promo prices. So I said it was false advertising and they didnt even care left the place around 17:50 wasted my time where I could have planned for load shedding and then at 6pm the power went off. I intended to buy the batteries for the loadshedding but Leroy Merlin wasted my time. SHAME ON YOU!!!
