False advertising!!

On Black Friday the 27th of November this year, I came across a basin for sale at R599 when proceeding to checkout just before paying I notice the price was higher than expected at R840 each! I was buying 3 of them for my home renovation. I didn't think anything and just screenshot the item and price at R599 only and sent the query immediately. I had no feedback so I phoned on the 30th of November where I had the same issue with the vanity I was purchasing. It was shown as R899 but when I tried to checkout it changed to R1799!! After more than 2 weeks of back and forth between 4 Leroy Merlin employees, I was put in contact with Mike Sibanda the Head of Department. He wanted proof that I took the screenshot on black friday cause his system doesn't show it as having been that price on black friday but rather in October this year! There was clearly a glitch in their system that they are brushing off! If there was no problem and I could have purchased at the correct price why would I even bother listing the query??! Further if I had known the problems Leroy Merlin would end up giving me I would definitely have screenshot the date! They would probably have then made a new excuse! When discussing the issues with Mike Sibanda yesterday he ended up putting the phone down on me!! If purchasing from these dishonest ******* please retain all proof! I would never have expected such poor service from such a big company! Will not purchase from them again!
