Ordered my some tools and timber 11.07.2020. order was confirmed the same day. today is 03.08.2020. After about 17 calls and about 6 emails later I finally found the reason for my order not being delivered. 90% of my timber order they do not have in stock. Its hard to believe, I know, but apparently this is not Leroy Merlin's first timber order, not even in South Africa. So apparently the scarecest thing in the country at the moment in structural timber, not medical PPE as the media led us to believe. When I asked when will they have the stock, no tiemframe could be given. Again, I know, hard to believe a company that supplies building materials could not commit on a timeframe. so Leroy Merlin is the company for you if you are looking for that one special place that can't communicate, order stock, or build a proper website you've found them.
