Dishonest sales

I go to the Boksburg branch today to buy a cupboard. The salesperson tells me the price is R2799.00 but it’s marked down to R2699.00. I ask her if the cashier knows this and will pick up the correct price at the till. Yes, she rep****. I get to the cashier after standing in an unacceptably long queue and lo and behold, the price is R2799.00 I inform the cashier that the salesperson told me it was marked down to R2699.00 Yes, says the cashier, but only if I take a store card! I do not want your store card! My wallet is full of store cards! I am a customer nonetheless, am I not?? This method of enticing customers to buy things by having your salesperson state that the product is marked down but does not tell the customer that it is dependent on signing up for a store card or any other qualifying criteria is dishonest and a cheap shot! As I stated to your cashier, I will take my business to your competition, who are conveniently less than 2km away. At least I get honesty from them.
